Yes, we are the strong believers of our responsibility towards our society and our role in nation building by the means of hospitality on remote sector. Yeti Mountain Home's biggest socio-economic contribution is the exploration of mountain culture and to have the backward and forward linkages on tourism of local products, human resource, culture, religion etc of Khumbu Region like Lukla, Phakding, Monjo, Namche, Thame, Kongde and other remote destinations of the region.
Yeti Mountain Home has employed 95 % of the employees on its organization from local level and expends yearly around one million rupees for the training and development on such manpower. We have also provided regular grant to socially and economically disable family for the education to their children.
Funds have been presented to different hydropower like, Chhuserma Laghu Jalabidyut Aayojana - Lukla, Bom Khola Laghu Jalabidyut Aayajona - Phakding and Monjo Khola Community Jalabidyut Aayojana - Monjo. Similarly we have renovated Lukla Gompa for the preservation of local historical heritage. Yeti Mountain Home has already donated total sum of NRs. 2,550,000.00 during different fund handover Programs till date.
Yeti Mountain Home has supported for the introduction of different trekking trials in the Region like Thame - Sumdur Peak trail, Thame - Renjo Pass Trail, Thame – Kongde Trail etc.
Local initiatives on animal farming, beekeeping, planting cash crops etc are highly encouraged. These efforts have gradually uplifted the condit8ions of local communities.

It was a great pleasure to stay at Yeti Mountain Home, Lukla from March 10 to 12. excellent Environment, Excellent Service, Excellent food. This idea of chain of resorts in the lap of the great Mt. Everest is really pioneering & visionary.
