Yeti Mountain home aims at playing an important role for the welfare of the indigenous people by launching and supporting the projects that cultivate community empowerment and independence. Income generating opportunities are provided to the local people by utilizing produces such as milk, cheese, vegetables and meat products.

Local initiatives on animal farming, beekeeping, planting cash crops etc are highly encouraged. These efforts have gradually uplifted the conditions of local communities.

Consequently, the resort has started contributing some of its financial aid towards local issues such as water, sanitation, education, health, and environment. Furthermore, technical and financial support for teacher training programs and construction of schools and hospitals has been extremely beneficial for the region. In future, Yeti Mountain home aims at increasing skills and capacity building programs for the locals which will help in the overall development of this region.
