Kongde the smallest of our lodges with just 15 rooms is even more unique as it is one of the highest hotels in the world at 4,250m. You will be well rewarded after your eight hours walk in, with majestic views of five of the world’s highest mountains, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-Oyo, Gyajung Khang (the highest under 8000m), and Ama Dablam. Combined with views of the spectacular Khumbu valley and the Kongde Lake you will not cease to be amazed.

Accommodation

Even being at the highest altitude of the world,our lodge bedrooms are finished with a combination of traditional Khumbu and modern style with natural wood featuring extensively, for a warm cozy and relaxing feel. Each room has been designed with your total comfort in mind.

All bedrooms offer either king-size bed or twin-bedded accommodation. To ensure your complete comfort, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the hotel and also do not allow any pets. We have an electric mat in each bed and clean blanket to keep you warm. A thermos of hot boiled water is served in each room.

Dining

Our dining room has wooden chair with mattress and table and decorated with flowers. We can arrange setting for 28 people. We have a sealed chimney in dining room for our guest who can enjoy their mouth watering meal by the chimney enjoying the spectacular view of the mountains.

We serve organic vegetables which are grown in our own green house.

Know the Area

Kongde is the highest location which has only comfort lodge on entire Khumbu Region and it has established by Yeti Mountain Home Group at an altitude of 4250m Latitude : 27 46' 027'' Longitude : 86 41' 030'' to provide panoramic views of the Majestic Mountains. Namely, Mount: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho-oyu, Gyajung Khang, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kusum Khangugu, Tawache and Cholatse. It was the original route from Thame to Kongde which had been used by original Khumbu Sherpas before 1950s and now it is newly renovated by Yeti Mountain Home Group having approval of EIA.

Around 500m from Yeti Mountain Home Lodge to Farak Ri peak and it has the panoramic birds eye views of entire Khumbu Valley and view of 8000m peaks; Everest, Lhotse Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dalam, Thamserku and many other Peaks of Khumbu Valley such as Cholatse, Island Peak, etc.

The resort further reflects the evoking views of the entire Khumbu Valley. Furthermore, at an altitude of 5000m is a beautiful lake which is like a drop of pearl in the mountainous ocean. Yeti Mountain Home Kongde consists of 15 comfortable rooms with room heaters and hot & cold water.

The Restaurant has a spectacular view of all panoramic Mountains.

Flight Service

We also provide flight service. We issue tickets to the guests who haven’t got their tickets. We also assist our guest in proponing or postponing their tickets to Kathmandu.
